My name is Lisa Gillam, and I am a working music teacher, songwriter, performer and developer of teaching and learning resources for preschool, primary and elementary music education.
I've been following a number of amazing music teacher bloggers for many months. I won't list them all now, but I'll be sure to share some of their content with you in the future. It has been my intention to start blogging for quite some time, but teaching life has always seemed to prevent me from doing so. Well, those experienced bloggers have inspired me to get things underway!
From this point forward, I'll be posting a great deal of video content, teaching resources that I've created, resources that others have shared that I find helpful, helpful tips that I have collected in my 20+ years of teaching and some general interest stories.
